Entrepreneurial Leadership Project (ELP)
• Project based learning at the heart of the Programme
|

|
Along with fundamental courses in finance, strategy, and marketing reorganised to address entrepreneurial leadership, learning is driven by a team project in large, medium, or start-up organisations, selected to focus on your identified learning needs. This Entrepreneurial Leadership Project (ELP) involves real clients with real consequences. As a true development laboratory, the project also aims to place participants into a real value creating project with real stakeholders.
The project aims at placing participants into a real value creating project with a real stakeholder. The MBA programme administration identifies potential project sponsors in companies, start-ups, associations, government and non-governmental organizations. |
|
Each project places participants in a situation where they will be responsible for helping gather support, gather resource and transform a business development project into reality.
In short, the project puts the entrepreneurial spirit at the disposal of numerous types of organizations.
Each project is coached by a member of the MBA faculty. The coach plays a key role in helping the team advance their project. Note however that the coach should not be the source of ANSWERS and SOLUTIONS – but rather – someone who guides the team towards a solution, accelerating the entrepreneurial learning process.
Each team member is required to submit three quarterly reports and one annual report. Part of the report is to be written as a team (Project management, team learning and team leadership, advancement, next steps) and part by each individual (improvement of individual leadership competencies, personal challenges, etc.)
Each quarterly report will be graded and is valued at 2 credits. Any quarterly report evaluated at less than 10 is required to be resubmitted.
The annual report is to be submitted at the end of the year and will be accompanied by a team based presentation. The annual report has the same form of each quarterly report but also focuses on including recommendations for the sponsoring organization. Like the quarterly report, the annual report has both a team and individual component. The written report is to be graded and is worth 2 credits. The written report will be accompanied by a team presentation worth an additional 2 credits. The project sponsor will also provide feedback for the presentation grade.
The annual report may not be resubmitted. A grade less than 10 on either the annual report or the presentation results in a non-validation of the annual report. The annual report and presentation may not be resubmitted.
All team members must participate in the final presentation whether in person or via various technologies (videoconference, Skype, etc.). The grade for the presentation will be individual based (i.e. team members may receive different grades based on the quality of work and implication in the presentation)
