Transportation and Parking
Public transportation between the campus and downtown Lyon is available.
• Bus n° 3 runs between the Hôtel de Ville (City Hall) square opposite the Opera House and the Campus. The stop is on avenue Guy de Collongue just in front of the school.
• Bus n° 55 runs between the "Perrache" railway station
and the Campus. The stop is in front of the Ecole Centrale which is 5 minutes by foot from EM LYON.

Once you are downtown, you can easily access many parts of the city by the underground (metro) system.
If you have a car and plan on parking on campus, you are asked to park at the St.Louis campus car park which can be found on "Chemin du Petit Bois". There is a footpath that allows direct access from this car park to the main buildings. Directions are provided at the entrance to the main campus car park.
Transportation between Lyon and Ecully
The campus can be reached directly by taking bus lines n°3 and n°55 (the bus company is 'TCL' : Transports en Commun Lyonnais). The bus schedules are posted at the bus stop in front of the Ecole Centrale.
To travel to EM LYON from downtown :
The bus terminus for line n°55 is at the "Perrache" train station and the bus terminus for the bus line n°3 is at the town hall opposite the opera. Note that the number of buses and their frequency is significantly reduced in the evening, on the weekend and during vacation periods.
To go downtown from EM LYON :
The bus stop for bus n°55 can be found in front of the Ecole Centrale (5 minutes walk from EM LYON campus); the bus stop for bus n°3 is on avenue Guy de Collongue in front of the EM LYON campus.
A bus or subway ticket costs 1,40 € . A book of 10 tickets costs 11,5 €. You can buy them from the bus driver or from automatic distributors in the subway. All tickets must be punched using the small yellow machine available when you get on the bus or on the subway platform. The ticket is valid for an hour even if you change buses or subway trains. However, they are not valid for a round trip. You can also buy tickets at the student price (-20%), if under 26 years of age in certain tobacco shops or in TCL agencies.
Travelling to EM LYON
By plane
If you arrive in Paris at the Paris-Roissy/Charles de Gaulle airport, take the TGV directly from the airport to Lyon, or you can take the 'Roissy Rail' to the Lyon train station (Gare de Lyon) in Paris. Changing trains at 'Châtelet'. Then take the TGV to 'Lyon Perrache'
If you arrive at the Lyon-Satolas airport, take the shuttle bus to the Perrache train station (the shuttle bus leaves every 20 minutes and costs 8 € (52,50 FF) for the trip, which is 40 minutes long ).
By train
Get off at the Perrache station if it is possible (otherwise, get off at the Part Dieu train station)
In all 3 situations, once at Perrache you can take the 55 bus which will take you straight to the school for 1,40 € or else take a taxi to the student residences which will cost you 12,20 € . Expect a trip of 20 to 30 minutes.
By car
On the A6 highway follow the direction 'Lyon Centre'. Then take the 'Ecully' exit. Go all the way to downtown Ecully and take the avenue Guy de Collongue, which is in the direction of Dardilly.
EM LYON campus is right after the Ecole Centrale (the engineering school) about 1,5 kilometers from downtown Ecully.
Campus Resources and Services
Being part of an MBA is more than just participating in class. Participants may take advantage of multiple services available outside of the classroom. Some specifics of these services are detailed below.

You may also access parts of Buildings A, B and C during the weekend. The “MBA Zone” can be accessed all day Saturday when the Executive MBA is in session and until 13h00 otherwise.

IT Facilities and Requirements
The EM LYON has one of the most advanced IT systems among French business schools. Participants benefit from a campus-wide wireless network (WIFI), videoconferencing facilities, course information on-line, free laser printing, VOIP access (Skype), MSN, advanced presentation technologies, and much more.
To benefit from this, participants are required to have a portable computer. Although participants may use a portable computer they may have previously purchased, it is suggested that participants purchase the portable computer package proposed by the School’s supplier. Participants will be informed of this package two to three months before classes start.

Restaurants
Building A: “Caffè Ritazza”: Breakfast and light snacks (sandwiches, pizzas, quiches, salads, etc.) Monday thru Thursday from 8am until 5:30pm, (until 4:30pm Friday) and lunches (meat dishes, fresh pasta, desserts, etc.) from 11:30am until 2:30pm. These times may change depending on customer needs.
Building B: Our café-bar is open Monday to Friday from 8am until 4pm, and between 12 noon and 2pm a self-service buffet lunch is available in the EUREST restaurant (vouchers can be purchased from the MBA Student Association or from Reception in building B ).
Automatic vending machines (sweets, hot and cold drinks) can be found in all three buildings.
Participants are also welcome to eat at the Ecole Centrale, 5 minutes from campus. It is open for lunch and dinner, Monday to Friday and just for lunch on Saturdays.
Sporting facilities and events
On campus sporting facilities include a multi-functional indoor arena (basketball, indoor football,..) a weight and machine room, aerobics room and 3 outdoor tennis courts. Showers and changing rooms are available. The sports facilities are open to participants of the programme.
The Infomédiathèque
The Infomédiathèque is located on the first floor of Building C. The Infomédiathèque is open Monday to Friday from 10h00 to 19h30 during the academic year. From the middle of June to August, access is available from 13h30 to 18h30.
Services offered include :
• Access to over 21,200 book, 300 reviews, 6,900 management research documents (working papers, etc.), 900 annual reports and 300 Eurostaff reports

During the BASICS weeks, participants will visit the Infomédiathèque and be introduced to the numerous services offered.
Housing Office
The Résidences et Loisirs association proposes an exclusive Accommodation Service to all EM LYON students and programme participants.
This service proposes an off-campus accommodation search service offer:
• With private landlords, real estate management agencies (régies), property management firms (syndics), in other student halls of residence ....
Their offer includes:
• A list of offers from private landlords (according to your criteria)
• A carefully selected list of addresses of housing professionals (real estate management agencies, property management firms, estate agents…)
• A selection of Internet sites
Participants interested in the above services should seek assistance from the association. An application form can be downloaded from the MBA web site. The package of above services costs 100€.

If you are in the need of a « turn-key » solution, the MBA recommends you contact Mme. Christine Helleputte at Soleil d’Intérieur.
The programme also suggests that you contact past students and consult well known web sites (for example http://www.bonjour.fr/) to locate lodging.

Photocopying
Card operated photocopiers are available in:
• Building A: Publishing Department (Service Edition).
• Building B: Reception Hall.
• Building C: Multimedia Library (Infomédiathèque)
A machine is also available near the MBA boxes and in the Executive Education zone.
